The Bachelor of Science Education program is an eight-semester program that offers specialisations in

Bachelor of Design and Technology Education

The Bachelor of Design and Technology Education program is an eight-semester program that offers specialisations in

  • Building Construction,

  • Machining and Metal Fabrication, and

Bachelor of Education (Secondary/Primary – In-service)

The Bachelor of Education (Secondary/Primary – In-service) program is a four-semester program that offers specialisations in

To be eligible for this program, candidates must have a Diploma in Teaching Secondary/Primary, be a professional registered teacher, and have more than two years of teaching experience.

Also, the applicant must have a satisfactory report from the Regional Standard Officer of their performance (The report must be within the last five years from the date of application). 

Any other qualification and experience deemed appropriate by the Admissions Committee will also be considered.


Diploma in Early Childhood Education

The Diploma in Early Childhood Education program is designed to prepare students to work with young children in various educational settings, including

  • preschools, 
  • kindergartens, and 
  • early childhood education centres. 
The program is four semesters long and covers topics such as child development, curriculum design, and classroom management.

Entry requirements for the Diploma in Early Childhood Education include a Grade 12 qualification from a recognised institution with a minimum GPA of 2.4. 

Applicants must also have a C grade or better in Language and Literature or a B grade in Applied English, and a B grade in General Mathematics or a C grade in Advance Mathematics.

Official police and medical clearances must also be attached, and applicants with experience in childcare activities including First Aid are preferred.

All applicants must sit and pass the STAT P /entry test, except for in-service applicants who are exempted from the test.


Diploma in Guidance and Counseling

The Diploma in Guidance and Counseling program is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to work as counsellors in various settings, including

  • community centres. 
The program is four semesters long and covers topics such as counselling techniques, group dynamics, and psychological assessment.

Entry requirements for the Diploma in Guidance and Counseling include a Grade 12 qualification from a recognised institution with a minimum GPA of 2.4.
