Divine Word University (DWU) 2024 Selections Lists PDF Updates for Prospective Students

Divine Word University (DWU), with its diverse campuses across Papua New Guinea, is pleased to provide information regarding the upcoming 2024 Acceptance Lists for various student categories. Similar to the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG), DWU releases four separate lists to inform applicants of their admission status:

  • New Intake Grade 12 School Leavers (SL) Acceptance List: This list announces students accepted for undergraduate studies directly from Grade 12, fulfilling their academic aspirations.
  • Non-School Leavers (NSL) Acceptance List: This list recognizes the diverse paths to higher education by acknowledging students accepted for undergraduate studies who are not categorized as school leavers, including mature-aged learners and transfer students.
  • Continuing Students Progression List: This list confirms the continuation of studies for currently enrolled DWU students who have successfully progressed to the next academic year, ensuring their academic journey continues uninterrupted.
  • Re-enrolled Students Acceptance List: This list welcomes back students who have chosen to re-enrol in their studies at DWU after a period of absence, providing them with the opportunity to rekindle their academic pursuits.

Please note: The specific dates for the release of these lists will be announced by the Higher Education Department in collaboration with DWU - click here for the 2024 Publication Date of the Acceptance Lists for PNG Universities

Divine Word University (DWU) 2024 Selections Lists

Divine Word University (DWU) will also publish the final list for new students on its website for the upcoming academic year. This list will display your Tertiary Education Study Assistance Scheme (HECAS & AES) status, as well as registration details, orientation dates, and fees.

Therefore, please check the university website for the 2024 TESAS Awards List, which is typically released in January.

Here's what the Department of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (DHERST) has stated regarding this year's selections:

  • All selected students should obtain their Admission or Acceptance Letter from the chosen tertiary institution. By now, most institutions should have emailed or posted these letters.
  • For School Leavers: The National Admission Pool's post-selection process is still ongoing. Eligible students who did not receive a place on the initial selection day should regularly check their NOAS account for any offers from institutions. If an offer is present, kindly accept or decline it by clicking the relevant button.
