Bachelor of Arts Education - In-service - Content - 4 Semesters

This program is designed for those who already have a diploma in teaching secondary/primary and professional registration as a teacher with more than two years of teaching experience. 

You must also have strong academic achievements in the academic transcripts and Grade 12 certificates with clear evidence of the specific program of study as a major specialisation. 

In addition, you must have a satisfactory report from the Regional Standard Officer of your performance, which must be within the last five years from the date of application. 

Any other qualification and experience deemed appropriate by the Admissions Committee will also be considered.


Bachelor of Business Accounting, Economics, and Management - 8 semesters

The Bachelor of Business program offers three specialisations to choose from, including Accounting, Economics, and Management. 

To be eligible for any of these programs, you must have completed Grade 12 with a minimum GPA of 2.8 from a recognised institution. 

You must also have achieved a B grade or better in Language and Literature or an A grade in Applied English and a C grade in Advanced Mathematics or a B grade in General Mathematics. 

Also, you must achieve a B grade or better in the respective subject specialisation and pass the STAT P/entry test.


Bachelor of Arts/Business (Transit Program for Applicants with Prior Qualifications) - 4 semesters

If you already have a diploma in business/arts from a recognised institution with high GPAs, you can apply for the Bachelor of Arts/Business Transit Program. 

You must also have relevant diploma qualifications that fit into any of the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Business specialisations offered at the university. 

UOG graduates will be given preference.


Diploma in Creative Industries and Creative Arts Education - 8 semesters

The Diploma in Creative Industries is designed for those who wish to pursue a career in the creative industries, such as art, design, fashion, and media. 

To be eligible for this program, you must have completed Grade 12 with a minimum GPA of 2.4 from a recognised institution. 

You must also have achieved a C grade or better in Language and Literature and Advance/General Mathematics and a C grade or better in Science or Humanities courses.

Any other qualification and experience deemed appropriate by the Admissions Committee will also be considered. In-service applicants are exempted from the STAT P/entry test.


The Diploma in Creative Arts Education (PVTE) is for those who already have a diploma or certificate in creative arts agriculture with a minimum GPA of 2.4 and more than three years of work experience in the area of creative arts. 

Plus, you must provide satisfactory inspector's or supervisor's reports (Inspection report must be within the last five years from the date of application). This report should indicate your work experience and ability to teach Creative Arts.


Applying to the University of Goroka's School of Humanities
