Thousands of Namibian students who took the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO) and Advanced Subsidiary Level (AS) Grade 11 Exams in 2023 can finally know when the 2023 exam results will come out. The results release date for 2024 was announced.

Namibia Grade 11 Results 2023 Release Date

The Namibia Ministry of Education, Arts, and Culture (MoEAC) has announced the much-awaited release date for the highly anticipated results at the: 

  • earliest on the 5th and
  • latest on the 12th of January 2024. 
Sanet Steenkamp, Executive Director at the MoEAC made this clear during an interview with the NBC News' Good Morning Nambia (GMN) program.

10/01/2024 Update: The results will now be released to the NSSCO Grade 11 Full-time and Part-time students on 10/01/2024 at 12:15 PM.

How to Check Namibia Grade 11 Result

According to Sanet Steenkamp, marking is nearing completion with only some markers finishing up on Tuesday, 12th of December 2023. This diligent process assures students and parents of the results' accuracy and fairness.

An announcement for the results release date will be made upon completion of the marking so stay in tune for the official announcement from the MoEAC.

The MoEAC will release the results through multiple channels to ensure easy access for everyone:

  • Online: The results will be available on the Ministry's website and other designated online platforms. Details of these platforms will be announced closer to the release date.
  • Print Media: Namibia National Newspapers will publish the results, giving access to those without internet connectivity.
  • SMS: Students can send their full candidate number via SMS to designated shortcodes (to be announced) to receive their results directly on their phones.

Namibia Grade 11 Statement of Results

Students can visit their respective regional directorates or schools to obtain their statement of results before the official release date. This announcement will be made at least a week before the actual results.

Statements will be physically distributed to regional directorates (14 across Namibia) and schools. They will also be available online.

Statements of results serve as official records of achievement, detailing performance in each subject with grades and marks. The statement of results is required for academic pursuits like tertiary enrollment and scholarship applications. They serve as a personal recognition of hard work and dedication.
