PNG Defence Force Recruitment 2025 – How to Apply Online and What to Expect Next

The Papua New Guinea Defence Force (PNGDF) has officially announced the 2025 General Enlistee Recruitment. The announcement was posted on their Facebook page on Friday, 21 November 2025.

If you are interested in joining the PNGDF, you can now apply online through the LaborSolutions application portal. Read on to find out how to apply, and what to expect next.

How to Apply for PNGDF Recruitment 2025

Step 1: Visit the Application Portal

Go to: https://www.laborsolutions.net/questionnaire


Entry Criteria (Read Carefully Before Applying)

To apply, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be 18–25 years old

  • Have a Grade 12 certificate with C grades or better in Maths and English

  • Be single

  • Have a minimum height of 165 cm

  • Have no medical conditions or deformities, including:
    drug use, CHS, penile modifications, HIV, VDRL, Hepatitis B, hypertension, anemia, color blindness, obesity, pregnancy, or any chronic illness

  • Be a Papua New Guinea citizen

  • Be computer literate

  • Be ready for screening, including literacy, medical, psychological, and fitness tests


Step 2: Complete the Online Questionnaire

Fill out the full questionnaire on the portal.

The questionnaire is made up of 8 sections:

  1. Personal Information
    Your name, date of birth, gender, province, village, contact details, NID number, etc.

  2. Eligibility Check
    Citizenship, height, health status, criminal record.

  3. Educational Qualification
    Your highest qualification, school or institution, year completed, and field of study.

  4. Work Experience / Skills
    Employment status, previous work or volunteer experience, skill areas.

  5. Motivation & Suitability
    Why you want to join, your strengths, willingness to serve anywhere, fitness and lifestyle questions.

  6. References
    Names and contacts of two referees and their relationship to you.

  7. Document Uploads
    One combined PDF containing:

    • Letter of Interest

    • CV with photo

    • Certificates and transcripts

    • Valid ID (NID or Birth Certificate)

    • Police Clearance

    • Three reference letters

  8. Declaration
    Confirming your information is true and you agree to the terms.


Step 3: Submit Your Application

Click Submit at the end of the questionnaire.

That’s it — your application is complete!


What Happens Next?

After submitting, you will need to wait for PNGDF recruitment officers to contact you.
At this time, the exact number of enlistees and the release date of the list have not been confirmed.

According to PNGDF’s announcement, only selected applicants will be contacted for screening. After the screening process, the final list of successful enlistees will be published.
