2025 Grade 11 Selections Lists PDF for NGI Secondary Schools

The 2025 Grade 11 selection lists for the New Guinea Islands Region have not yet been released. However, you can download the PDF of the Grade 11 selection lists for all the schools in the New Guinea Islands Region from the Education Department website (www.education.gov.pg) once it is available.

The Grade 10 exam results were released on December 5, 2024. PNG Insight understands that the secondary schools and national schools of excellence selections are in progress in the provinces (East New Britain, West New Britain, Manus, AROB, and New Ireland) and in Port Moresby, respectively.

2025 Grade 11 selections list for NEW GUINEA ISLANDS Region

The 2025 Grade 11 selections list for the NEW GUINEA ISLANDS Region is the listing of the 2024 Grade 10 Students who are selected to the secondary schools in the following provinces:

• AUTONOMIOUS REGION OF BOUGAINVILLE (AROB)
• EAST NEW BRITAIN PROVINCE
• MANUS PROVINCE
• NEW IRELAND PROVINCE
• WEST NEW BRITAIN PROVINCE.

In recent years, the Education Department has adjusted the timeline for releasing the final Grade 11 Selection Lists. Traditionally, these lists were made available two weeks after the Selection Committee finalized the process. However, a decision to conduct the selection process in the provinces, rather than travelling to Port Moresby, allowed for earlier releases. The implementation of an online selection system has further streamlined the process, enabling faster dissemination of the Grade 11 selection lists.

The selection committee in each province entered the selection data online, and the final lists were submitted to Port Moresby for confirmation and publication. This year, the selection process will be conducted entirely online, further streamlining the process and ensuring timely release of the selection lists. • Update#7: 21.12.2023 - The Education Department website is VERY SLOW. When downloading the Grade 11 Selection List, click once and wait for the list to download onto your device. Do not click too many times or refresh the page.

• Update#6: 20.12.2023 - Grade 11 Selection Lists for NGI Region 2024 OUT NOW - Released Today. SEE THE DOWNLOAD LINKS BELOW.

• Update#5: 14.12.2023 Do you think the Education Department should include the dates for the publication of Grade 10 and 12 examination results and Grade 11 selection on the Education Department Calendar? Let us know what you think here.
• Update#4: 14.12.2023: Some Secondary School principals have released the Grade 11 selection list 2024 on their Notice Boards. Some lists are doing rounds on Social Media, too. That's fine, but make sure that those selection lists are OFFICIALLY SIGNED by the Education Secretary. If the secretary's signature is not on the lists (and dated), regard it as an UNOFFICIAL list.
• Update#3: 10.12.2023: PNG Insight understands that the selections are still in progress, no announcement has been made as to the release of the 2024 Grade 11 selection list for the NEW GUINEA ISLANDS region yet.
• Update#2: 06.12.2023 - Grade 10 and Grade 12 results to come out on the 8th of December 2023
