How to check BGCSE Results via BEC Website
1. Visit www.bec.co.bw > Botswana Examinations
2. Click on the “Results” tab on the navigation bar.
3. Click “My Results”
(SKIP STEPS 1 - 3 and GO DIRECT TO MY RESULT PAGE)

4. In the “Examination” drop-down combo box, select the Examination (in this case select BGCSE)
5. In the “Year” textbox type the year (In this case type 2023)
6. In the “Centre Number” textbox type your school’s Centre Number.
7. In the “Candidate Number” textbox type your Candidate Number.
8. In the “Surname’’ text box type your Surname. The Surname is not Case Sensitive.
9. Click the “ Show Results ” button.
10. View your results (Exam cycle, Year, Centre/School subjects and overall grade)
How to check BGCSE results 2023 via SMS?
1. Go to Compose New Message and type your:
Level CentreNumber CandidateNumber CandidateSurname
(Please include a space between the parameter values)
2. Send your Message to 16688
3. You will receive your results via SMS
Where to download BGCSE Results PDF?
Botswana BGCSE results were released and the students should be seeing their exam results via SMS or online, as shown in this article. Students and stakeholders will also expect to download the BGCSE results in PDF.
The examination council has been publishing the yearly BGCSE results in PDF since 2012.
