When is the Matric result 2023 coming out?
The Department of Basic Education announced that the national matric results for learners in public schools are expected to come out mid-January 2023 like they did last year (20th January 2022).
In fact, the 2021 Matric results were released on exactly the same date. By inference, the Matric results 2023 release date could also be the same.
The individual results will be made available online the day after the announcement of the release of the matrics results, 2023.
Grade 12 students (the Matric Class of 2022) can access their results online or via mobile phone. Also, the results can be collected at your local schools.
UPDATE DEC 2023: According to the DBE, the Matric results release date for 2023 is the 20th of January.
As expected, the Minister of Basic Education Angie Motshekga will announce the outcome of the final exam on the 19th of January 2023. Students will access their Matric Results the following day.
