How to Check BECE Results 2024 - when will the bece results be released 2022 in ghana

When will BECE results come out in 2024?

WAEC (West African Examination Council) is responsible for the BECE examination, marking and certification. 


The exam dates are fixed, however, the exam release date depends on 

  • how fast the marking takes place; and
  • how when WAEC completes its internal checks and balances.


These are part of the exam cycle before certifications. 


WAEC will let students, parents and stakeholders of the dates when the 2024 exam results will come out when marking, checks and balances are completed. 


In the past, WAEC aimed to complete marking and data-check within 45 days from the last BECE exam.


As for this year, the 45 days end in the second week of January 2024. It is now confirmed that the BECE results 2024 release date in Ghana is in the 4th week of January 2024. The WASSCE results come out prior to the BECE results, click here to find out more about WASSCE 2024 results.

So, 'when will BECE results 2024 come out?' Note that in 2020 and 2021, the BECE results came out in February. Expect this year's BECE results to come out late in January 2025 or early February 2024.


BECE Results 2024 - Provisional

The BECE Results students receive are provisional. That means that the results are indicative of the results on your final (printed) certificate. 


In some cases, your results may change in the final checks and balances before the results come out. This is normal.
