Telikom TV is a television service offered by PNG Telikom. Telikom TV uses the internet to deliver 20 television channels. You can access and view the 20 channels, including the most popular being Netflix and Youtube. Telikom TV services are available in Port Moresby and recently launched in Lae.

Q1: What is Telikom TV?

Telikom TV is a value-added product that is offered on Telikom’s Fixed Broadband Internet (Copper & Fibre) service. Telikom TV provides Television Channel entertainment over the Internet.

There are 20 Channels that can be viewed via an Android TV Smart Box which is connected to the internet access (ADSL2+/GPON) and connected via HDMI cable to the HDMI in-port of a Television set.

Q3: Do I require Internet Data to view Telikom TV?

Yes, you will require internet data to be able to view the Channels because Telikom TV is provided over the internet. The Android TV Smart Box has the Telikom TV android application pre-installed.
Accessing the Channels will be via the Telikom TV app. There are other Android applications that are installed in the Android TV Smart Box like Netflix, YouTube, FITE, TED, Red Bull TV, and Haystack TV that can be accessed using internet data.

Q4: How much is the Android TV Smart Box?

The Introductory price is K150.

Q5: Are there TV Plans to subscribe to?

No, there aren’t any TV Plans yet. For now, you only require internet data to access the 20 Free of Subscription Channels.

Q6: Will there be other Channels added to the current 20?

Yes, additional TV Channels and VOD contents will be offered soon.

Q7: Is the soft Launch in NCD only and is Telikom TV available in other centres

Telikom TV has been soft-launched in NCD only and will soon be rolled out to other Provincial Regions where ADSL2+/GPON is present.

Unlike the television services we are all accustomed to which uses antennas, satellite dishes and cables, Telikom TV provides these services through the internet. This form of television service is technically known as IP TV or Internet Protocol Television.

2023 NSFAF Student Portal Login Authentication Namibia

The purpose of the Students Portal (NSFAF, Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund portal) is to enable Applications and Approval of Funding services online.

 Other functions of the NSFAF are to reduce the cost of accessing those services, streamline administrative processes, improve turnaround times, and strengthen accountability and responsiveness.

How use the NSFAF Portal?

You will need a User ID and Password to use the Portal. So, if you have not registered before please click on the link: “Sign Up/Register”. 


You will need you:

  • ID number, 
  • mobile number and
  • email address to register. 
Once you have registered you can use the Unique User ID and password you provided to Login and access the Services on the NSFAF Portal.

Online Application Notice

Online application is open for Undergraduates, Postgraduates and Vocational applicants enrolled or who wish to study at local and SADC/internationally recognized institutions with accredited programs.


Please note that mature-age applications will only be accepted for local public institutions, namely: UNAM, NUST and NAMCOL.


All required documents must be uploaded during the application period.

  • Certified copy of the applicant’s Full Birth Certificate.
  • Certified copy of applicant’s Namibian Identity Document (ID).
  • Certified copy/copies of school leaving certificate(s) [Grade 11/12 or equivalent].
  • Certified copy of Undergraduate qualification and its transcript (applicable to Postgraduate applicants).
  • Proof of combined Parental Income or declarations for applicants who are 28 years of age or younger and unemployed.
  • Certified copy of applicant parents' Identity Documents (ID) or death certificates if deceased or declarations if documents do not exist.
  • Own or spousal income or both for employed applicants who are above the age of 28 and declarations if unemployed.
  • Proof of 2023 admission or registration if available during the application period.


Due to funding limitations, postgraduate applications are subject to the criteria below:


  • Awards will be given to those studying towards priority fields of studies (priority fields will be made available on our website, www.nsfaf.na, in due course)
  • Applicants should have not received more than two funding opportunities from NSFAF.
  • Total combined debt to NSFAF may not exceed N$350,000 (previous debt plus loan to be awarded).
  • If you have previously benefited from the NSFAF, you will be requested to attach an acknowledgement of debts and/or proof of repayment arrangement, before an award can be issued.
  • Applicants are subjected to vetting with employment status (including self-employment).
  • Only a set of pre-determined fee will be committed, subject to the availability of funds.

  • All applicants will be required to apply online.
  • Due dates are final and will not be extended.
  • We remind those at Vocational Training and Education institutions to apply as no payment will be made without an application and loan contract.

Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF)


The Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) provides financial assistance to Namibian students who wish to pursue their studies at tertiary institutions. 


To apply for financial assistance from NSFAF, students must first register online by visiting the NSFAF website and completing the online application form. 


The application process typically includes providing personal information, academic records, and financial information. 


After submitting the application, students will be notified of their application status and, if approved, the amount of financial assistance they are eligible to receive.

2023 myNAMCOL Student Portal

Prospective students, those intending to attend NAMCOL, must register to use the student portal. The new and continuing students should already be registered and able to use their login credentials to access the student portal. 

For a prospective student, not registered at this institution this is what you do:

  • Apply, 
  • Register, 
  • Change personal information, 
  • get academic and other information and 
  • make payments.
The registered users of NAMCOL student portal are the Students Personnel, Other, Alumni. These users must use their

  • Pin (5 numeric digits)

If you blocked your pin or forgot the password or student number, NAMCOL recommends that you reset your pin by following the prompt.

How to login to MyNAMCOL student portal in 2023

These login instructions will help you to login and access the student portal. 

  • Step 1: To access NAMCOL student portal, go to https://namcol.edu.na, and click on 'Student Portal' - a new window will open.
  • Step 2: Select on 'Student'
  • Step 3: Enter your Student Number and Pin. Click login
  • Step 4: Change your Pin to a preferred new Pin
  • Step 5: To view personal information, click on Administration
  • Step 6: To view marks and academic records, click on Student Enquiry
  • Step 7: Click 'Logout' to exit

2023 reminders when changing student portal access pin

In fact, you will be prompted to change the Pin. When changing Pin, do these:
  • use 5 numeric digits, no letter or other characters
  • do not start the Pin digits with 0
  • do not have the same numbers next to each other, e.g. 22

Public Universities in Papua New Guinea


1. University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) - Port Moresby

Proposed Lutheran University in Lae

PNG's Prime Minister, James Marape, has challenged the Lutheran Church to build a university in Lae. 

Talks are underway, but this has not yet come to fruition. If established, this university would be the 9th in PNG.
